Softball
In an effort to continue to provide opportunities for youth of public housing in the State of Alabama, AAHRA has offered other types of youth activities since 1993.
Each year AAHRA has provided a statewide softball tournament. Although not as big as the basketball tournament, over 250 players have gathered each year to test their skills on the diamond.

Volleyball and Soccer
In the mid 1990's, AAHRA provided both volleyball and soccer camps for youth across the state. Dothan, Montgomery and Ozark served as hosts. As housing authorities got involved in their own summer programs and funds began to tighten, interest in these statewide events waned. Should interest once again increase, AAHRA will provide these activities.
