Providing both public housing and Section 8 rental assistance to more than 125,000 residents across Alabama, you will be surprised at the many other things our Association is doing. From youth sports and after-school tutorial programs, to scholarships and self-sufficiency classes, we are active and committed to making a difference in Alabama!

The Alabama Association of Housing and Redevelopment Authorities is composed of 150 housing authorities across Alabama is committed to providing decent, safe and sanitary housing to the citizens in our respective communities. Our members provide housing to the elderly and disabled and assist families by providing self-sufficiency programs, opportunities to further educational goals, youth programs as well as private housing.
